West Philadelphia Fresh Food Hub
The West Philadelphia Fresh Food Hub is a non-profit mobile grocery store operated by Greensgrow Philadelphia Project and Preston’s Paradise. The Fresh Food Hub brings high quality affordable food directly from area farms to urban neighborhoods, with a focus on underserved communities along the Lancaster Avenue corridor.

Fresh Food Hub coming to Lancaster Avenue
We're excited to announce a new partnership with Greensgrow Farms, Drexel University, the People's Emergency Center, and the Philadelphia Health Department to bring a local grocery store to Lancaster Avenue! Starting in April of 2012, Preston's Paradise will have fresh produce, plus dairy and protein items as well as dry goods available 5 days a week to our neighborhood. This project is an evolution of our fresh food farmstands that have operated with community partners in Belmont and Mantua since 2006. The feeback we've received from our neighbors...
Orchard Planting
Come join us Sunday, October 30 for putting the finishing touches on the ALAW orchard. This is the raindate due to snow! Starting time is 12 noon at 4035 Ogden Street. See you there!
Community Meal!
It's the peak of the harvest season and we hope you'll join us for the next Community Meal, happening this Saturday, September 3 in the Preston's Paradise garden. It's a FREE brunch, just like the old days with a full menu of meat, eggs, juice, and vegetables. And of course wonderful company.
It's the beginning of fall, and also back-to-school season so if you have any extra school supplies, feel free to bring them along and we'll make sure they get into good hands.
