The landscape of gardening in Philadelphia is changing.

A STRONG GRASSROOTS GARDENER NETWORK CAN INFLUENCE HOW THAT HAPPENS

_______________________________________________________

·      The City is changing how it makes land accessible to gardeners and others – and we need new ways to preserve gardens on vacant and abandoned land.

·      A bill in Harrisburg could allow Philadelphia to create a land bank to manage vacant land.

·      The Zoning Code is changing to include urban gardening and farming and the Planning Commission has started a district planning process and needs vocal community input from gardeners.
